Tiny Feet's Individual Tutoring program provides academic support for kids in all the subjects. Whether your child is struggling in school, looking to get straight As, or needs enrichment, we offer a wide range of support and services.

We help students with homework, assignments, tests, and any school work and also with their study skills, such as test-taking, note-making, time-management, communication, concentration, organization, and more.

School closures across the world in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic have been incredibly difficult for parents, teachers and children. Getting used to online schooling,  doing household chores and trying to maintain a balance between on and off-screen has been a huge challenge for parents.

We understand that educational needs are individualistic and each child is different. That's why we came up with individual tutoring classes for kids. If your child has unique learning needs, we're here to help. If you're not sure exactly what kind of support your child needs or if they'll even benefit from our program, give it a try. We offer a free trial class.

The benefits of one-on-one tutoring

While group tutoring programs work for many students, individual tutoring has a number of distinct advantages. Below, we discuss some of the main ones

1. Individual and unique learning experience
Your child will receive an individualized learning experience they can’t always get in a classroom setting. Tutors can customize lessons and activities for them.

2. One-on-one attention
Tutors get to know your child’s individual learning style and can adapt teaching methods accordingly. They act as your child’s own private teacher.

3. Improving academic performance
Tutoring will prepare your child for tests and exams, while tutors work with your child on specific areas. Your child’s understanding of, and often grades for, specific subjects can significantly improve.

4. Improving attitude towards learning and school
Learning often becomes fun for your child when working with a private tutor. With continual encouragement and praise, your child will less frequently feel overwhelmed or frustrated with school.

5. Improving confidence and self-esteem
Your child’s self-esteem and confidence will increase through tutoring. They’ll be given the resources and skills they need to excel in school.

6. Focused workplace
Tutoring provides an environment free of distractions, with fewer students and disruptions, so your child is better able to focus on learning.

7. Encouraging independence and responsibility
Your child may improve their ability to do school work on their own, without your help, as a result of one-on-one tutoring. Seeing this growth will often allow them to take more responsibility for their studies.

8. Overcoming learning obstacles
Your child’s tutor can target whichever aspect of learning your child is having trouble with, whether it’s writing, math, language, or reading.

These aren’t the only benefits of tutoring, though. Others include:

  • Encouraging the freedom to ask questions

  • Getting frequent feedback

  • Increasing the ability to manage one’s learning

  • Receiving challenge and stimulation

  • Preparing for college or university

  • Improving social and behavioral skills

  • Pursuing a passion
